For both of these games, I would put more money on the Carolina under. I don't know how books could lay a 5 goal line with Carolina at home and only -130 on the under. As worst this should be a 5 goal game with the total 5 under 50 or 4.5 over 30. Carolina plays really good defence at home and most of their games the total is 4 goals or less. If you look at Toronto they haven't been scoring lately and I think not having Mogilney has a big effect on it since he is the leading scorer. He isn't going to be in the lineup tomorrow. At worst we'll probably break even with the total hitting 5. As for the Dallas game at 5 goals. I guess the books feel that Calgary can't score and they are half right about that. But laying a 5 goal line with
-110 on either side seems weak. Don't understand why it wouldn't be 5 over 140 0r 130. Dallas at home they averages 4 goals and Calgary gives up about 3 goals a game. If you believe in these stats Dallas should be able to score at least 4 goals, since Calgary should be tired playing in Phoenix last night. I'm pretty sure Calgary will score at least a goal and they are averaging 2 goals a game. They even have 3 goals tonight against Phoenix. As always good luck.

Smokey,

Great run!

Just thought I would pass along that I read Mogilny should dress tonight for the Leafs. Kidd was going to be the starter but Quinn said that Belfour "should" start.

Heads up Scoob for passing this information along for everyone on this forum. I layed a couple of units on the under, so I'm going to probably buy back some on the over. To everyone checking this, just play both plays the same, not more on the Carolina under. Last night on Yahoo it said that Mogilney probably wouldn't dress.

Scoob, just wondering where you read that. Mogilney and Belfour are both nursing sore backs and they will miss the all star game. I just went to a lot of prewiev sites on this game and they said that Mogilney isn't going to dress. This information is huge because if Mogilney is playing and he is 90%, the power play will be a lot more effective. Can anyone tell us if the condition of Mogilney, that would be helpful. If Kidd plays that would suck for the under, he is letting in almost a goal more than Belfour. If anyone has any updates it would be very appreciated.

Ive read on alot of sites that he is not supposed to play tonight.....But heard on the radio here in Toronto earlier today that both Mogilny and Belfour will dress and are expected to play.

"Although Leafs general manager/coach Pat Quinn thought about putting Trevor Kidd in goal tonight, he said yesterday he was "pretty sure" Ed Belfour will start, and that it is "very likely" Mogilny will play."

Hope this helps

Good to update everyone here, Tru and Scoob. If there was even a slight chance that Kidd played I would never have posted this pick. He is a bum and most of the 2nd string goalies are not as good as the starters, guess that's why they don't start. The problem with the nhl is that sometimes you don't know who is going to be in net. Just like a few days ago Ryan Miller played for Buffalo and he is horrible and that is why Buffalo allowed 5 goals. The reason I post overnight is because I'm afraid the lines will change. If I ever find out if the starting goalie is not playing, I'll just lose juice and buy the other side. Not worth taking a shot on the back up.

Good and bad luck, Lucky to get a push in the Star/Flames game with a late goal(Lehtinen) at 19:09 to make it 4 to 1. Unlucky to get a push in the Leafs/Canes game when the Canes scored shorthanded at 18:38 (Francis)to make it 3 to 2, and put the total on 5. BTW. all starting goalies played.

Wilheim, I have to agree with you we got lucky in the Calgary game, but you would expect Calgary to score more than 1 goal. The Carolina game is really unlucky because it was 0-0 after the first period. More times than not you will cash.

Get lost, this is a serious forum you are fooling around with. Take this no English crap to the main forum or the rubber room, people are serious here.

Smokey, I needed the Dallas game over for 2 of my units, I actually was relieved to get the push. The Flames put around 30 shots on goal and could only get one in the net. Good luck tonight.

Wilheim, just wondering why you are knocking Rens. He is the first person on this forum to congratulate me. I was pretty upset last night because I had twice as much on the Carolina under. Sorry guys no plays for today, just when I see something strong, I will post.

I am not knocking him for his acknowledgement of yourself. I know he is a phony and not from Croatia. You do not need his praise, if you have noticed when you or I push a game he always seems to win, with so-called local lines in Croatia, LOL. Trust me he has done this before 1st saying he was German and later Russian. The real hockey players here know you are doing your best. I hope you keep it up, sorry to hear there is nothing that you like tonight.

wil.

btw. I understand Kidd will be in goal tonight for the leafs, have you heard anything re. Mapleleafs goalie Vs. Thrashers tonight?
